No this behavior is not normal for the replicator. I've never used the replicator until now, thinking it would temporarily solve my problem, so I'm not sure if this is normal behavior It only seems to be replicating spoiled versions of the food I stored. The same problem seems to be occurring with the food replicator. But I've been avoiding my other smaller families because it's just a waste of ingredients and time to keep making new meals. I don't want to simply rebuy and rebuy fridges because the fridge my sims use is the one you can get only by reaching the top of the chef career track I can't rebuy that one. It continued after I'd installed WA, and is still happening (have installed the error-16 save patch, but didn't expect this to fix it).

I noticed this problem almost immediately after installing the 1.5/1.6 patch - the one that was released Nov 16/09.
